Screen Shot 2018-08-07 at 18.13.40At Path to Peak we recently undertook an engagement with Diva Nutritional Products. Acting in the capacity of Chief Procurement Officer, we were able to guide them, over a six month window, to refine their procurement processes and sourcing strategy, unlocking material savings. This work included due diligence work, assessment of sustainable suppliers, processing equipment and alternative sourcing options.

In addition, Path to Peak assisting in building a robust growth plan for the next 5 years based on extensive market research in the “Ready to Use Food” segment which services customers like Unicef and the World Food Program.

Here is some customer feedback from Danie Laning, the Operations manager:

“Dave is a gifted negotiator with a rare combination of energy, experience and research skills.

Dave worked for our company as a procurement specialist on a consulting basis and brought expert knowledge, integrity and a very easy to work with approach to our business.

In each of my engagements with Dave, he, myself and the teams involved were able to collaborate very effectively on projects from start to finish. Dave figured out our very unique and diverse procurement setup easily and managed remarkable savings for my company in a very short space of time. Additionally, an often neglected area in our company is organizing and documentation. Dave delivered high quality documented organizational tools and control models which allowed for a sustainable environment for us to operate in going forward.

I would not hesitate at recommending Dave as consultant or in executive management, as his vision and drive are unequaled.”

At Path to Peak, our aim is to create a sustainable model and transfer skills while delivering material benefits right from the outset. The engagement at Diva was a great example of achieving this goal.
