Our thoughts and prayers are with the countries who are currently facing the heat of the COVID19 battle. With globally deaths approaching 75 000, Africa has currently only recorded 0,6% of those. As of the 7th of April, ±480 deaths have been recorded in Africa. North Africa accounts for 75% and the country of South Africa, 2%. But index cases in South Africa and other African countries lagged, by a few weeks, those in North Africa so the full impact in Africa still has to be seen and we have precious time to further prepare.
